Last updated: May 14, 2026

By using GreyPile you accept these terms. Please read them — they describe what you can do with the app and the limits of our responsibility.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the GreyPile mobile application ("the app", "GreyPile", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use GreyPile. In some jurisdictions a higher age applies (16 in parts of the European Economic Area). If you are under the legal age in your country, you may only use the app with verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian.

3. Your Account

4. Licence to Use the App

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use GreyPile on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use. This licence is conditional on your compliance with these Terms.

You may not:

5. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create in the app (army names, notes, painting state and similar). By using GreyPile, you grant us a limited licence to store, transmit and display this content solely to provide the service to you on your devices.

You are solely responsible for the content you submit. Do not submit content that is illegal, defamatory, infringing, hateful or otherwise inappropriate.

6. Pro Subscription / Purchases

7. Intellectual Property — Games Workshop Disclaimer

GreyPile is an independent fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Games Workshop Limited. Warhammer 40,000™, Age of Sigmar™, and all related names, races, characters, vehicles, locations, units, illustrations and images are trademarks or copyright of Games Workshop Limited.

The unit catalogue included in the app lists product names solely so users can organise their physical collections. No Games Workshop artwork is reproduced — faction illustrations in the app are AI-generated.

All trademarks belong to their respective owners. If you are a rights holder and have concerns about how a name or mark is used, please contact us at neuralsand@gmail.com and we will respond promptly.

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep the app available and working correctly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will GreyPile or its developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, use or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the app.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or €50, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including statutory consumer rights in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom).

10. Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the app, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or for any other reason permitted by law. On termination, your licence under section 4 immediately ends.

11. Changes to the Service or the Terms

We may modify the app or these Terms over time. Material changes to the Terms will be announced in the app and reflected in the "Last updated" date above. If you do not accept a change, your remedy is to stop using the app and delete your account.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be brought before the competent court of the consumer's place of residence, where required by mandatory consumer protection law. EU consumers may also use the online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
